Trip Meeting Re-Cap
Thank you to those that came ot our trip meeting!  All paperwork that was handed out can be found here:

Please remember, any medicine traveling (prescription OR over the counter) needs to be turned into the nurses NOW if this has not yet been done!

Trip Meeting Questions: Answered!

Please see below the answers to a few of our questions posed at our trip meeting!
  1. There will be daily house-keeping, but you can OPT out with the sign on the door knob
  2. Each room is equipped with a safe for guest use.
  3. On Thursday, we will have time to transfer back to the hotel in order to change into more formal attire for The Outsiders
  4. Tuxedo wearers will need to wear their tuxedo to Lunch & The Radio City Stage Door Tour on Friday after our Cathedral Performance. Dress wearers will be able to bring a change of clothes via a back-pack.
  5. Sechrist Travel is anticipating United and Newark issues to be mitigated come our trip.  A contingency plan will be developed should it be needed.  Since our flights are direct, with no events both arrival and departure d.ays, we have cushion should a plan need to be put into place 

Send-Off Concert:
Mark your calendar for our NYC Performance Tour Send-Off Concert, currently scheduled for May 26th.  This concert will be held at First Christian Church here in Huntsville from 6:00-6:30pm.  This is a wonderful opportunity for non-travelers to come and support our singers before they head off to NYC!  Student call time will be 5:30p.m. in Full Concert Uniforms.

REAL ID: Alabama's STAR ID
All travelers age 18 and above will need a form of Federal Identification in order to fly for this trip.  This either means obtaining the new Alabama STAR ID by itself, OR having your non-STAR ID Driver's License, ALONGSIDE a valid, unexpired passport or passport card, or other accepted form of federal identification as listed on the TSA's website at www.tsa.gov.  Grissom Choir & Sechrist Travel will not be responsible for any additional screening measures or possible travel delays for individuals should these steps not be taken.  Travelers age 17 and below are not subject to these guidelines.

Merchandise Hand-Out
All travelers will receive a Trip T-Shirt, a Grissom Choir Belt Bag (Fanny-Pack) as well as a Sechrist Travel Luggage Tag.  These will be handed out next Monday at our first Post-Exam Rehearsal.  Chaperones, please ensure that your child also picks up YOUR merch!

Post-Exam Rehearsal Dates
Singers (including seniors!), we will have mandatory rehearsals following all four of our regular exams at the end of the school year from 12:40-3:40.  Lunch will be provided for you on these days!
