I. Call to Order

III. Reading and Approval of Minutes
Previous Meeting Minutes: Minutes read by Joanna Hillis. Amanda Magonigal motion to approve, Jessica Spinoso 2nd, approved unanimously.
 
IV. Officer and Committee Reports 
Treasurer

• Report of Current Financials:

Fundraising

• Popcorn: sold $4,890
• Nothing Bundt Cakes: After spring break

 
V. Old Business

• Pizza and Pop – Date has changed to February 27 at 6 PM at 1st Baptist Church youth room. Leadership team arrives right after school, Board arrives as early as possible. Jotform will be set so attendees pay instantly. 

- 1st Baptist will supply tables and chairs, but we will set everything up to cut down on costs.
- Mr. Ratcliff will pick up pizzas. Board will pick up cookies, brownies, waters, sodas, coolers, ice, plates, napkins.

• Choral Festival – Had a great turnout from the middle schools 
• UAB Honor Choir – February 23, taking regular buses, arrive at 6 AM, leave by 6:15
• Choral Assessment – March 11, registrations have been received from middle schools, will need a few people to work the front desk
• Photographer – Takes choir photos for free, but we will pay $300

VI. New Business 

• Trip for 2027 – Vienna (3 nights), Olomouc (1 night), Prague (2 nights). Goal is to have 2 formal concerts and 1 impromptu. 

- Mr. Ratcliff plans to announce at the end of February. Cost will be ~$3,000, and will include everything but lunches. Will be open to current 9-12 grades. Will have full itinerary before spring break so fundraising can begin.

• Block Schedule Fees – Fees are currently $250 per year. For next year, fees for students in choir both semesters - $300, and 1 semester - $200. Will have an extra concert (4 total), and will make more ticket money. 

- Karon suggested that we have an annual pass for concert tickets for parents. Would offer possible discount to $35 from $40 for all 4 concerts, but pass would only be available for purchase at the parent meeting.
- Spring concert will be in Feb/March, Summer concert in April with Huntsville Community Chorus, Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, and a couple of other high schools at VBC.
- Chamber Choir will require 2 class blocks. Women’s Choir will be scheduled fall semester, and Men’s Choir in spring. Women’s and Men’s will meet during advisory in the alternate semesters. Both semesters are preferred for Concert Choir, but they can do 1 semester only if needed.

• New desk requested for Mr. Ratcliff – will contact Kenneth Newton about design
