Good Morning NYC Travelers! Please read below concerning our 4th New York City Performance Tour Update! REAL ID: Alabama's STAR ID All travelers age 18 and above will need a form of Federal Identification in order to fly for this trip. This either means obtaining the new Alabama STAR ID by itself, OR having your non-STAR ID Driver's License, ALONGSIDE a valid, unexpired passport or passport card, or other accepted form of federal identification as listed on the TSA's website at www.tsa.gov. Grissom Choir & Sechrist Travel will not be responsible for any additional screening measures or possible travel delays for individuals should these steps not be taken. Travelers age 17 and below are not subject to these guidelines. T-Shirt Orders All travelers will need to fill out the form found below to record your t-shirt size! Please do this ASAP Driven Coffee Roasters Fundraiser This week, we will begin a last-chance fundraiser to help students off-set their Basic Support Fees, Uniform Fees, & NYC Trip Fees: Driven Coffee Roasters! All information concerning this fundraiser will be discussed in class. This fundraiser has the potential to sell really well as it is a completely online fundraiser, with items being purchased by the customer and shipped directly to them! Prior Fundraising Credits All prior fundraising credits have been sent off to Sechrist Travel. Should there be any issues, please reach out to myself as soon as possible in order to mitigate concerns! Trip Meeting We will have a mandatory trip meeting for all travelers, as well as parents of student travelers, on the evening of Tuesday, May 6th at 6:30pm in the Choir Room (ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR MAY 1ST, BUT NEEDED TO CHANGE IN ORDER TO NOT CONFLICT WITH SENIOR BANQUET). At this meeting we will discuss our itinerary, packing needs, medication procedures, and all things needed in order to prepare for our trip. Broadway Show Final Selections I am excited to announce that we will be seeing both “Wicked” and “The Outsiders” when we travel next month! Payment Schedule Thank you to those that have kept up with paying your balances these past few months. At this point in time, all funds due to Sechrist Travel should be paid for. If this is not the case, please take care of it this week. A final $200 payment is due to Grissom Choir at the end of this month in order to off-set room charge overages for our group, our medication assistant trip, t-shirts, as well as lunch for students on our post-exam rehearsal dates.
Post Exam Rehearsal Dates Singers (including seniors!), we will have mandatory rehearsals following all four of our regular exams at the end of the school year from 12:40-3:40. Lunch will be provided for you on these days! May 16th May 19th May 20th May 21st
