Good Evening Grissom Choir,


It was an honor to have The Mississippi State Singers with us this past Monday morning.  Thank you to all of the students who were able to come down and support both their signers and our singers.  We always welcome university choirs to visit, and you represented Grissom Choir exceptionally well!

All-City Festival, Forms & Payment
The 2023 All-City Choral Festival will be held THIS week, on Monday October 16th & Tuesday, October 17th. An email was sent out before Fall Break with important documents concerning this event, and was also handed out to students in class.  Please see the provided email & paperwork for all details.  The digital Permission Form and $30 Festival Fee are due TODAY, Friday, October 13th!  Any remaining payments can be turned in Monday morning at 9:00 at the festival.  Students whose digital forms or payment have not been turned in will be asked to leave the festival.  For those students not participating in All-City but wish to come support their fellow Grissom Choir members, the concert is Tuesday night at 7:30pm at FBC Governors Drive.  We hope to see you there!


Tidal Wave Auto Spa Fundraiser
Last week, Grissom Choir will kick-off its 2nd fundraiser of the school year, a Tidal Wave Auto Spa Car-Wash Fundraiser.  Each ticket can be sold for $10 (valued for the $20 Car Wash), of which $5 will go towards the student’s individual My Music Office Account.  This is an easy and fast way to raise money for Grissom Choir related fees!  Tickets will be available for check-out starting Monday, October 9th in the Grissom Choir room, and students will have 1 more week to sell.  Any tickets not sold will need to be turned in to the Grissom Choir Money Box along with any monies raised.  Please visit www.grissomchoir.com/fundraisers for more information!


All-State Auditions
The 2023 All-State Choral Festival Auditions are currently set for Wednesday, November 8th, which is only 4 weeks away!  More information, will be emailed out next week.  However, there are several students who have yet to receive their All-State music due to lack of payment.  These fees have been posted on My Music Office, and music has been available for students to pick-up once payment is received (MMO or Money Box).
