Good Afternoon Grissom Choir,

Our Grissom Choir Glow Run is tomorrow evening!  We are very excited to be hosting this event.  Through this fundraiser, we have raised $1,500 towards our department!  For those participating, be sure to be up-to-date via the email I sent out this week!

Grissom Choir Glow Run
For those on Leadership Team & our Volunteer Group, please meet at the Choir Room side door by 4:00pm (earlier is better!) tomorrow, Saturday November 15th.  We will have many logistics to knock-out day of before the race begins, including putting out cones and arrows along each route.  Come ready to work and have fun!

Chamber Choir WHNT Recording
This year, the Chamber Choir will be traveling to the WHNT Studio THIS COMING Tuesday, November 18th to record carols that will then be broadcasted on air throughout the month of December.  All Chamber Choir students should report to the choir room at the beginning of 2nd block on this day for final preparations before we depart via bus, and will return before the end of the school day.  An email will be sent to all teachers the day before excusing students from 2nd, 3rd, and 4th block as this is an approved field trip.

Car Wash Tickets
Car Wash Tickets should be in this coming week.  Please be on the look-out via Remind for when these come available!  Students will need to pick up their tickets, as well as their order forms in order to distribute out to purchasers!

Winter Concert Performance
Our Winter Concert is quickly approaching!  The concert will be held on the evening of Tuesday, December 9th at 7:00pm. Student call time is at 5:30pm in their Concert Uniform attire, upon which new students will receive the week after Thanksgiving.  Admission to this concert is $10 for all adults, and $5 for students, with doors opening at 6:45 for seating.  Please remember that it is a requirement for all Grissom Choir members to participate in our public concerts.

Winter Concert Final Rehearsal
There will be a required final rehearsal on Monday, December 8th for all students directly after school. It is imperative that all students are present at this rehearsal in order to figure out how we will be getting on & off the stage, and to have a final run-through with our accompanist. Students that are not present at this rehearsal will not be allowed to perform at the Winter Concert.  Men’s & Women’s Choir students will be dismissed by 5:30pm, Concert Choir students by 6:30pm, & Chamber Choir by 7:30pm.  Please remember that it is a requirement for all Grissom Choir members to participate in our final rehearsals.
