Poppin Popcorn Fundraiser
Two weeks ago, Grissom Choir started out 4th fundraiser of the school year, Poppin Popcorn!  This is an EASY, FULLY ONLINE fundraiser for students to participate in to help raise funds for their My Music Office Account, as well as our New York City Performance Tour!  All you have to do is share your personal store link using Social Media, Text, or Email. All orders are placed and paid for online then shipped directly to the customers home within 24 business hours!  Visit http://poppinpopcornonline.com/participant/register.php?g=MXCFMC to create your Grissom Choir Seller ID and personal store link and start raising funds today!  A physical Brochure as well as instructions card was made available in class this past week for those wishing to participate!  All orders must be completed by this coming Tuesday!

Pizza & Pop Ticket RSVP
All friends and family members of Grissom Choir students are invited to join us for Pizza & Pop, located in Wesley Hall at Trinity United Methodist Church on Friday, February 21st at 6:00pm!  1 Ticket @ $15.00 each (sold at the door, cash & card accepted) includes a "showcase" style performance evening featuring our multi-talented Grissom Choir students, along with 2 slices of Pizza, a drink, chips, & dessert.  All attendees are required to RSVP by Wednesday, February 19th in order to attend.  Please visit www.grissomchoir.com/pizzapop to reserve your dinner & entertainment today!

UAB Honor Choir 
TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY! This spring, all 4 Grissom Choirs will be traveling down to Birmingham for the University of Alabama in Birmingham’s annual Honor Choir on Monday, February 24th.  This honor choir is designed to affirm the participation of young singers in the vocal arts. The choir is comprised of high school students throughout the State of Alabama. Students work closely with the festival clinician in intense rehearsals focusing on musicianship skills, voice building, and ensemble performance. The choir also rehearses and performs side-by-side the collegiate choirs. Students will experience concerts and masterclasses, and will perform with seasoned professionals on traditional and exciting new choral repertoire.  A more detailed letter was emailed out last week with all information, and was handed out in class.  Please mark your calendars for this days!
