Good Morning Grissom Choir,

Congratulations to all four Grissom Choirs and their marvelous singing this year’s first Grissom Choral Assessment. The Chamber & Women’s Choir received Straight Outstanding Ratings by our clinicians, & The Concert & Men’s Choir received Straight Superior Ratings by the four adjudicators.  We are SO proud of our students and the hard work they are putting into their music every day!!

2025 All-State Choral Festival
The festival cost this year for all students is $317.  These costs are based on current hotel room pricing, (breakfast included), as well as updated All-State Registration Fees.  All money is due by Tuesday, April 1st.  We will have a MANDATORY All-State meeting the evening of Tuesday, April 1st at 6:30pm at the Starbucks on South Parkway.  This will be required for all students participating, as well as parents, even if they are not traveling to Birmingham.  A letter was handed out last month, and a more detailed packet will be sent home with students this week with the above information, as well as all things All-State related.  If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to reach out!

Solo & Ensemble 
For our 2 soloists that have registered for Solo & Ensemble, your $15 per soloist is DUE in the Money Box or MMO.  Music has been given out to all participants.  Our official date and time for this event is scheduled for the afternoon of Friday, March,  29th.  A Letter/Email will be handed/emailed out today with more information, alongside a Digital Permission-to-Travel form.  All forms & monies will be due by the event

End-Of-Year Applications
We will have various applications for upcoming awards & assessments being talked about over the next week  For those that are interested in applying for these opportunities, we will discuss them in full beginning next week in class:
