Driven Coffee Roasters Fundraiser
Our fundraiser ends this week!  Two weeks ago, we began our last-chance fundraiser to help students off-set their Basic Support Fees, Uniform Fees, & Trip Fees: Driven Coffee Roasters!  All information concerning this fundraiser was discussed in class.  This fundraiser has the potential to sell really well as it is a completely online fundraiser, with items being purchased by the customer and shipped directly to them!  Visit https://launch.moneydolly.com/fundraiser/217517 to start selling today!

Spring Concert Performance
Our Spring Concert is next week!  This year, the concert will be on the evening of NEXT Tuesday, April 29th at 7:00pm. Student call time is at 5:30pm in full Concert Uniform (tuxes & dresses). Admission to this concert is $10 for all adults, and $5 for students, with doors opening at 6:45 for seating.  Please remember that it is a requirement for all Grissom Choir members to participate in our public concerts.

Spring Concert Final Rehearsal
There will be a required final rehearsal NEXT Monday, April 28th for all students directly after school. It is imperative that all students are present at this rehearsal in order to figure out how we will be getting on & off the stage, and to have a final run-through with our accompanist. Students that are not present at this rehearsal will not be allowed to perform at the Spring Concert.  Men’s & Women’s Choir students will be dismissed by 5:30pm, Concert Choir students by 6:30pm, & Chamber Choir by 7:30pm.  Please remember that it is a requirement for all Grissom Choir members to participate in our final rehearsals.

End-Of-Year Applications
As detailed in previous Weekly Updates, we have various applications for upcoming awards & assessments.  For those that are interested in applying for these opportunities, please visit www.grissomchoir.com/endofyear and fill out the appropriate form(s).  Please remember, all items are due by NEXT Wednesday, April 30th!

Choral Accords
This year, Grissom Choir will host its second “Choral Accords”, an End-Of-Year Banquet where we will recognize all Grissom Choir achievements from throughout the year, as well as individual awards such as Paper Plate Awards, All-City, All-State, Solo & Ensemble, & Senior Scholarships.  This event will be held in the Grissom Auditorium on Saturday, May 17th at 7:00pm.  Grissom Choir students are encouraged to get together with their friends beforehand for dinner, of which they will then come to the Choral Accords and enjoy cupcakes after celebrating our year.  All current Grissom Choir students will have free entry into the event via the Basic Support Fee.  Admission for friends & family will be $5 at the door, of which an RSVP form can be found at www.grissomchoir.com/choralaccords

Paper Plate Award Submissions
At our Choral Accords, every student in the department will be given a “Paper Plate” Award: awards written & given by students to their peers, written on a paper plate.  Students, visit the following link to submit your nomination for a friend!  Remember, there is no guarantee this award will be chosen for this individual.  Each of the selected awards will be read at our Choral Accords, so ensure they are appropriate!  The link can be found at www.grissomchoir.com/choralaccords
