Congratulations to the 64 Grissom Choir students that were selected to participate in the 2024 Huntsville All-City Choral Festival!  This is a record high as compared to previous years, and we are thrilled for these students to be selected for this honor!  Please be sure to read and follow all instructions found at www.grissomchoir.com/allcity2024

All-City Festival Permission Form & Payment
The 2024 All-City Choral Festival will be held in 4 weeks, on Monday October 21st & Tuesday, October 22nd. An email will be sent out this week with important documents concerning this event, and will be handed out to students in class.  Please see the provided email & paperwork for all details (same information found at www.grissomchoir.com/allcity2024.  The single, full-year, digital Permission-To-Travel Form (see below) and $30 Festival Fee are due by Friday, October 18th!

Grissom Choir City Bowls Spirit Night
This Tuesday, September 24th, Grissom Choir will be hosting a Spirit Night at City Bowls (9086 Memorial Parkway Unit 300) from 4-9pm!  All you need to do is mention Grissom Choir when ordering so that the proceeds benefit Grissom Choir. Come out and support!

Tidal Wave Auto Spa Fundraiser
Two weeks ago, Grissom Choir will kicked-off its 2nd fundraiser of the school year, a Tidal Wave Auto Spa Car-Wash Fundraiser.  Each ticket can be sold for $10 (valued for the $20 Car Wash), of which $5 will go towards the student’s individual My Music Office Account.  This is an easy and fast way to raise money for Grissom Choir related fees!  Digital Pre-Sell Ticket Order Forms were made available two weeks ago, and students until the end of this week to sell.  All monies will need to be turned in to the Grissom Choir Money Box by this Friday in order to receive tickets.  Please visit www.grissomchoir.com/fundraisers for more information and to access the Digital Form!

All-State Music
All-State music is IN!  Students who registered, and have also paid for the Basic Support, set up a payment plan, or have fundraised will be able to pick up their packets in class this week.

Grissom Choir Digital Permission-to-Travel Form
Grissom Choir will be traveling multiple times through the school year in its continuous efforts to provide the highest-calibre of choral music education to its students.  In order to mitigate paperwork, we are transitioning to a single, full-year, digital Permission-To-Travel Form, which will serve as permission-to-travel for all students and the trips that they will be traveling on.  Remember, EVERY student in Grissom Choir will be traveling this year on two required trips:  The UAB Honor Choir, and State Choral Performance assessment.  Please visit www.grissomchoir.com/permissiontotravel to access the List of Dates, as well as to sign the Digital Permission-To-Travel Form.
