This Week in Choir: Week 8

Good Afternoon Grissom Choir,

We had an excellent turn-out in participants in this year’s Sheet Sale! As a whole, Grissom Choir sold  $9,445 worth of sheets, which equals over $4,625 raised that will go directly toward student’s My Music Office fees and the various extra-curricular choir events students can be apart of.  The current estimated delivery window for these sheets is the week before Fall Break.  Please be on the look out on Remind or Email for when those arrive!

All-City Choral Festival Auditions
Auditions for this year’s All-City Choral Festival are in THIS COMING week!  SSA Auditions will be held on Monday, September 22nd in the Cafeteria, & SATB Auditions will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd in the Auditorium, both of which will be held HERE AT GRISSOM directly after school.  Students, please ensure that you have a ride after the auditions are over, and are fully prepared with the following:

    1. All Music in its Folder (including Battle Hymn, which was handed out two weeks ago)
    2. Measures Numbered
    3. Parts learned via Practice Tracks (grissomchoir.com)

It is my expectation that all students that registered follow through with their commitment by practicing and auditioning.  We have 104 students auditioning this year, and I want every single one of these Grissom Choir members to audition & be accepted.  Should there be any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.
