Fall Concert Performance
Our Fall Concert is THIS week!  The concert will be held on the evening of Thursday, September 8th at 7:00pm. Student call time is at 5:30pm in “Sunday Best” attire.  Admission to this concert alone is free to the general public, & doors open at 6:45 for seating.  Please remember that it is a requirement for all Grissom Choir members to participate in our public concerts.


Fall Concert Final Rehearsal
There will be a required final rehearsal THIS Wednesday, September 7th for all students directly after school. It is imperative that all students are present at this rehearsal in order to figure out how we will be getting on & off the stage, and to have a final run-through with our accompanist. Students that are not present at this rehearsal will not be allowed to perform at the Fall Concert.  All students will be dismissed by 5pm.  Please remember that it is a requirement for all Grissom Choir members to participate in our final rehearsals.


All-State Audition Date Change
Students, I have had to make an executive decision when it comes to the date of our All-State auditions.  In order to not cause conflicts with our districts Trumbauer competition that is also on November 4th & 5th, our new audition date for All-State will be on Sunday, November 6th at Florence High School in Florence, AL.  It has yet to be determined wether we will be traveling via bus or via chaperone car-pooling.  As soon as this is decided, I will let everyone know.  Music has been ordered, and will be here this week!  Once you have submitted your $30 Audition Registration Fee, you will be able to pick-up your music and start practicing!


T-Shirts Wednesday
For those of you that ordered this year’s Grissom Choir T-Shirt, please wear your shirts to school and to our Final Rehearsal on Wednesday!
