The University of Alabama in Birmingham Honor Choir (UAB) - Experience an unforgettable day of music-making at UAB’s annual High School Honor Choir! This year, the Grissom Choir will travel to the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where our Chamber Choir has once again been invited to perform as a featured guest ensemble alongside all Honor Choir participants in the festival’s culminating concert. It is a tremendous honor to be selected for this opportunity each year, and we are excited for all of our students to participate in this outstanding musical experience.
Held in the world-class Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center, this event offers an exciting opportunity to grow as a musician, connect with fellow singers, and perform in one of the state’s premier concert venues.
All Grissom Choir students are encouraged to register. The cost of registration is included in each student’s Basic Support Fee and covers all music, a commemorative T-shirt, and a pizza lunch.
Students will wear the provided T-shirt for the concert and should also wear dark pants and dark shoes for the performance.
