Good Afternoon NYC Travelers!

Please read below concerning our 3rd New York City Performance Tour Update!

Concessions Fundraiser #2
Congratulations to the 11 travelers (amongst non-travelers) that worked the concessions stand on September 6th at the Grissom vs. Huntsville football game! These travelers raised $150 EACH to go towards their upcoming Performance Tour to NYC!

Sheet Sale Fundraiser NYC Credits
Those that have participated in our Sheet Sale Fundraiser will have funds raised sent over directly from Grissom Choir to Sechrist Travel over Fall Break.  A list of names, as well as amounts, will be sent to our Tour Director, Sean Berg, to allocate towards the individual NYC accounts.  Remember, any unpaid Grissom Choir fees take precedent in fundraising efforts.  The 6 students that have remaining funds will  be sent to Sechrist Travel.  These “payments” have already been recorded in My Music Office, and should reflect this on your statements.  Those that have participated in our Car Wash Fundraiser will have funds sent over to credit towards the November payment.

Concessions #1 & #2 Funds Delay
We have been patiently waiting on receiving these funds raised from the HCPTA Concessions Team.  After much calling, and a few emails, I have  finally received word that the HCPTA Concessions Team does not distribute profits until the end of the season, after all expenses have been covered.  This means that the GCPA does not have these funds yet, and will have to wait until we have them in-hand (post football season) in order to get final totals raised per worker, and send off on your behalf to Sechrist Travel to go towards the November/January Payments.  While this is not ideal, we are fortunate to have been given two concessions opportunities this year, as some other Grissom organizations were not even given one.

Broadway Show Final Selections
Travelers, please scroll down to the form below, which will allow you to vote for our two show selection considerations.  These five shows were determined by the five most popular show preferences submitted via the last update.  Please select your two favorite, and click submit in order for your preferences to be considered for our trip! 

Payment Schedule
Please be reminded of the payment schedule:

• PAST DUE: Deposit due May 30, 2024 = $100 per person*
• PAST DUE: 2nd payment due July 30, 2024 = $300 per person*
• UPCOMING: 3rd payment due September 30, 2024 = $300 per person
• 4th payment due November 30, 2024 = $300 per person
• 5th payment due January 30, 2025 = $300 per person
• Sechrist Travel Balance due March 30, 2025 = $500
• Grissom Choir Balance due April 30, 2025 = $200

*non-refundable; transferable.  Payments made by credit card will incur a 5% surcharge
