Congratulations to the cast of Grissom Musical Theatre’s spring production of “Frozen: The Broadway Musical” on a fantastic run of this production.  It was a joy seeing you all on stage and working with each of you!

GCPA Board Meeting #8 - Approved
At the most recent Grissom Choral Parents Association Board Meeting, the Meeting Minutes from last months’s Board Meeting on March 9th, 2026 was approved.  These minutes can be found at www.grissomchoir.com/gcpa.  Our Board Meetings are open to any Grissom Choir Stakeholder, of which meeting dates and times can be found on the Grissom Choir Calendar at www.grissomchoir.com/calendar.

Nothing Bunt Cakes Fundraiser
Last week, we began our last-chance fundraiser to help students off-set their Basic Support Fees, Uniform Fees, & Trip Fees: Nothing Bundt Cakes!  All information concerning this fundraiser was discussed and handed out in class.  This fundraiser has the potential to sell really well through the voucher program, of which customers get to pick out their own flavors on-site.  For more information, please visit www.grissomchoir.com/fundraisers.  All forms and monies are due by this coming Wednesday or Thursday!

Spring Concert Performance
Our Spring Concert is in one week!  This year, the concert will be on the evening of Tuesday, April 28th at 7:00pm. Student call time is at 5:30pm in full Concert Uniform (tuxes & dresses). Admission to this concert is $10 for all adults, and $5 for students, with doors opening at 6:45 for seating.  Please remember that it is a requirement for all Grissom Choir members to participate in our public concerts.

Spring Concert Final Rehearsal
There will be a required final rehearsal on Monday, April 27th for all students directly after school. It is imperative that all students are present at this rehearsal in order to figure out how we will be getting on & off the stage, and to have a final run-through with our accompanist. Students with an unexcused absence at this rehearsal will not be allowed to perform at the Spring Concert.  Men’s & Women’s Choir students will be dismissed by 5:30pm, Concert Choir students by 6:30pm, & Chamber Choir by 7:30pm.  Please remember that it is a requirement for all Grissom Choir members to participate in our final rehearsals.

Choral Accords
This year, Grissom Choir will host its third “Choral Accords”, an End-Of-Year Banquet where we will recognize all Grissom Choir achievements from throughout the year, as well as individual awards such as Paper Plate Awards, All-City, All-State, Solo & Ensemble, & Senior Scholarships.  This event will be held in the Grissom Auditorium on Saturday, May 9th at 7:00pm.  Grissom Choir students are encouraged to get together with their friends beforehand for dinner, of which they will then come to the Choral Accords and enjoy cupcakes after celebrating our year.  All current Grissom Choir students will have free entry into the event via the Basic Support Fee.  Admission for friends & family will be $5 at the door, of which an RSVP form can be found at www.grissomchoir.com/choralaccords
