Good Evening Grissom Choir,


Congratulations to the many Grissom Choir students on their opening weekend of The Hunchback of Notre Dame!  I thoroughly enjoyed seeing our students on the Grissom stage, enjoying one of their passions!  Please remember that this Tuesday is an E-Learning day for Freshmen, Sophomores, and Seniors, while the Juniors take the ACT.  I will have an assignment for all non-testers posted on Schoology.

Cookie Dough Fundraiser
Our Cookie Dough Fundraiser ends this Friday!  For the the remainder of this week, we will be selling Cookie Dough through 1Cookie.com.  This is a completely digital fundraiser, which makes this another easy way to raise funds for our trip!  All Grissom Choir students may participate in this fundraiser, regardless of traveling status.  As this is an online fundraisers, please visit https://www.grissomchoir.com/fundraisers to get started selling today!


Treasurer Update
Our Treasurer, Karen Heller, sent out a very important email this past week concerning student fees! For those that have not taken a look, please do so at your earliest convenience so that you are not surprised when fees are sent over to the front office.


Senior Scholarship Information
Each year, Grissom Choir provides it’s seniors the opportunity to apply for one of our four Grissom Choir Scholarships: The Annette Shingler Vocal Excellence Award, The Phillip Gross Memorial Award, The Elizabeth Stephenson Harmony Award, and The Clarance F. Gandy Outstanding Choral Student Award. For those seniors wishing to apply, all information concerning these awarded scholarships can be found at www.grissomchoir.com/applications!

Each year after our Spring Concert, we host an awards celebration featuring all Choral Events that occurred in the school year, and honoring any individual choral achievements. Chamber Choir Audition Information
Chamber Choir auditions will consist of students learning a prepared piece via PDF and practice tracks, an online application, submission of a Teacher Recommendation Form, as well as a Scales & Sight-Reading.
