Good Afternoon Grissom Choir,

Thank you students for a stunning Fall Concert this past week.  Thank you Parents/Guardians for supporting our students and Grissom Choir as a whole.  I am very proud of every member, and you should be too!  Please see the information below which details important information concerning this week’s All-City Choral Festival Auditions!

All-City Choral Festival Auditions
Auditions for this year’s All-City Choral Festival are THIS week!  Students, please ensure that you have a ride to and from the auditions, and are fully prepared with the following:

    1. All Music in its Folder (some has still yet to ship. Copies will be made available this week)
    2. Measures Numbered
    3. Parts learned via Practice Tracks (grissomchoir.com)

It is my expectation that all students that registered follow through with their commitment by practicing and auditioning.  We have upwards of 60 students auditioning this year, and I want every single one of these Grissom Choir members to be accepted.  Should there be any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.


SSA Auditions:
SSA Auditions will be held on Monday, September 18th at Huntsville Jr. High directly after school.  Huntsville Junior High School is located just west of Huntsville Hospital on Adams Street. The address is 817 Adams Street.  Please enter the back parking lot on the right side of the building, or park on Adams Street.  Please do not park in the small front parking lot or in the roundabout.  Enter from the gym entrance and go to the registration desks.  There will be signs to direct you.  Please see the list of songs & corresponding measures below.  These measures are my absolutely favorite out of each song.  I hope that you will share in the joy of these selections with me!

SATB Auditions:
SATB Auditions will be held on Tuesday, September 19th at Lee HS directly after school.  Lee High School is located at 2500 Meridian Street North.  Please enter the back parking lot on the left side of the building, or park over the railroad tracks at the baseball field, & walk over the sky bridge.  Please do not park in the front parking lot  Enter from the auditorium entrance and go to the registration desks.  There will be signs to direct you.  Please see the list of songs & corresponding measures below.  These measures are my absolutely favorite out of each song.  I hope that you will share in the joy of these selections with me!
