Alabama Music Educators Association Conference

I will be on professional leave at the Alabama Music Educators Association Conference in Montgomery this coming Thursday and Friday.  In class, students will be required to follow the instructions above on those days.  The practice rooms and library will be off limits, except to those in Vocal Lab classes.


Yankee Candle Fundraising

Our Yankee Candle Fundraiser begins TOMORROW Monday! This fundraiser will run from January 13th-24th. Packets will be/have been given out in class to those that wish to participate, and students will also have the opportunity to sell digitally using the instructions provided in the packet.  Funds raised can be applied to anything Grissom Choir/Charms related, including trips!


Nashville Heritage Festival Trip

For those students traveling to Nashville this coming April, we will be meeting this Wednesday during 2nd lunch to rehearse Keep Your Lamps!, and to pick up your 2nd piece. Remember, these rehearsals are MANDATORY. If you do not come to these rehearsals, you will not be traveling!


Trip Updates:

European Performance Tour - 5th installment of $177 due in 3 weeks on Friday, January 31st. For those that participated in our Rock-A-Thon, please turn all monies into the money box this week for the credit to be applied towards your trip.

Nashville Heritage Festival Trip - 4th installment of $110 due is due in 3 weeks on Friday, January 31st.
