Good Evening Grissom Choir,

Thank you to ALL students for your cooperation and respect for the new classroom management rules we implemented this past week.  I have already seen major improvement across the board.  Keep it up!!

UAB Honor Choir

Chamber Choir students, the UAB Honor Choir Festival is tomorrow, February 3rd.  Please make sure you have turned in your $20 before we hop on the bus tomorrow morning at 6:15.


All-State Participant Meeting

We will have a MANDATORY All-State meeting THIS Thursday, February 6th at 6:00pm in the Choral Room. This will be required for ALL students participating, as well as parents, even if they are not traveling to Birmingham!  All money is due at this meeting as well.  Please see the email I sent out on January 20th for pricing and festival information.


Pizza & Pop Auditions

Auditions for Grissom Choir’s 2nd Annual Pizza & Pop talent night are Wednesday, February 12, directly after school in the choir room.  All students in the choral department are encouraged audition!  You may either sing a solo, sing in an ensemble setting, play an instrument, etc.  You must audition using the song you intend on performing the night of the event, and your song must be performance ready.  Karaoke tracks are allowed, but must be submitted using the Google Form.  I WILL NOT DOWNLOAD A TRACK FOR YOU.  Visit the link below to sign-up!

Trip Updates:

European Performance Tour - 5th installment of $177 due this PAST Friday, January 31st.
Nashville Heritage Festival Trip - 4th installment of $110 due this PAST Friday, January 31st.  Meeting this Thursday during 2nd lunch to rehearse.
