Students interested were given physical order forms, as well as a handout specifying step-by-step instructions for how to sell. This fundraiser has the potential to sell really well as tea, popcorn, k-cups, and honey sticks are also found on the brochure! All forms & monies will be due next Monday or Tuesday. 3rd Annual Grissom Choral Festival This school year, Grissom Choir will be hosting its 3rd Annual Grissom Choral Festival from Friday, February 3rd through Saturday, February 4th, with a free public concert at 2:00pm Saturday afternoon. This is a wonderful opportunity for current middle school students, grades 7th-8th, to sing and perform alongside current high school choir members and see what being in Grissom Choir is all about! While this is a requirement for all Chamber Choir members & Leadership Team to be apart of, I encourage any and all current Grissom Choir students to attend this free 2:00pm concert on the afternoon of Saturday, February 4th! Solo & Ensemble Registration For the 5 soloists and 2 ensembles that have registered for Solo & Ensemble, your $15 (per soloist) or $25 (per ensemble) is due at this time. Please note the price difference from previous years!! Music will continue to be given out this week to those in need. Please remember that this event is scheduled for February 27th or 28th, and will either be during the school day, or after-school. Pizza & Pop Auditions Auditions for our Pizza & Pop Showcase are coming up in 2 weeks! Auditions will occur on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 7th from 4:00-6:00. For those interested in auditioning, we will speak in class concerning the criteria and what is expected out of you. I highly encourage any and all Grissom Choir students to audition for this evening of dinner & music. All Student Audition Information can be found on our website at www.grissomchoir.com/pizzapop, along with the Audition Form! One More Thing… Students, if you have read through the entirety of this week’s Weekly Update, come to me during your next choir class block & tell me your favorite choir piece of all time. I will have something for you!
