We have had a great first full week of school in Grissom Choir!  Please ensure that you read the information below for all updates concerning what we are doing in and out of class, including our Parent Meeting tomorrow night at 6:00PM in the Auditorium!

Grissom Choir Parent Meeting
We would like to welcome everyone to the required Choral Parents Meeting tomorrow night (Monday, August 16th) at 6:00pm in the Auditorium.  At this meeting, we will discuss the handbook in full, & all information concerning being a Grissom Choir student & parent.  This is a requirement for ALL students & parents to attend.  New members will also get sized/fitted for this choir uniform this evening as well.


Grissom Choir Handbook & Acknowledgment Form
A Handbook/Syllabus was sent home with each student the first week of school.  Please ensure that all students & parents/guardians have read over this Handbook, and sign and return the Handbook Acknowledgement Form by our Parent Meeting tomorrow night.  This form serves as a 50 point formative assessment in PowerSchool.


Basic Support Fee & Fundraising
At our parent meeting, we will discuss our annual Basic Support Fee for all students, as well as kick-off our first fundraiser of the year to off-set this cost.  Information about this fee can be found in the Handbook that was sent him with all students.  We ask that payment toward this fee be made, or a payment plan be established at this meeting.  Those that wish to fundraise for their fee may do so after establishing this plan.


Remind
It is a requirement for all students to join Remind by tomorrow night using the information listed on in the handbook, on our website, as well as the powerpoint on Schoology.  Parents/Guardians, you may join your child's class using the information provided as well.  This serves as a 50 point formative assessment in PowerSchools for all students.
