Return To School

As we return back to school physically on September 21st, please make sure that all have read the guidelines and rules that administration has sent out via email to better understand the Cohort 1 & 2 system that GHS has implemented.  Because choir is an extra-curricular activity, we have been given the opportunity to allow Huntsville Virtual Academy (HVA) students to come to campus and participate in their choir class with the traditional students.  I have outlined the guidelines for each class concerning HVA involvement below:

Chamber Choir - HVA students will come to campus alongside traditional students for class rehearsals.
Concert Choir - HVA students are advised to come to campus alongside traditional students for class rehearsals.
Men’s Choir - HVA students are encouraged to come to campus alongside traditional students for class rehearsals.
Women’s Choir - HVA students are encouraged to come to campus alongside traditional students for class rehearsals.
Vocal Lab - HVA students are encouraged to come to campus alongside traditional students for class practice.

Should any issues arise based on the above guidelines, do not hesitate to reach out.


Fall Concert

For those that have signed our waiver to participate in our Fall Concert, rehearsals continue today!  Please enter through the Auditorium Lobby front doors for these rehearsals.  You will be required to wear a mask, answer health questions, and follow CDC and HCS guidelines.  Those that do not follow guidelines will be asked to leave, and will not be allowed to participate in the rehearsals/concert.  If your child wishes to participate, please make sure you have signed the waiver at www.grissomchoir.com/concerts.  This week will be the last week for students to sign up.
