Grissom Choir Incident
This past week, there was an incident which involved Grissom Choir students partaking in vaping in one of our practice rooms, along with students lying, skipping, and being highly disrespectful to the substitute teacher.  This kind of appalling behavior is NOT tolerated in Grissom Choir.  Because of these actions, I have had to take time way from my family and visit students in the classroom to express my deep concern and disappointment.  Please note that these types of behaviors result in students not being granted the opportunity to participate in Grissom Choir.  For those students that were involved, please submit an apology letter via Schoology Message that will be sent to the substitute teacher and administration, in hopes that our reputation of having an excellent program continues.  This apology letter must be sent by Thursday evening in order to be considered for one of next year’s choirs.


Chamber Choir & Concert Choir
Due to these recent events, the students that were selected for next year’s Chamber Choir & Concert Choir will now be posted by next Sunday’s Weekly Update.  Thank you each for your patience!


Chamber Choir Baccalaureate Performance
The Chamber Choir will be performing at this year’s Baccalaureate Service on Tuesday, May 24th at Trinity United Methodist Church.  The event begins at 7:00pm, with Chamber Choir call time at 5:30pm for rehearsal.  Seniors will wear Cap & Gowns, underclassmen will wear Concert Uniforms.


Concert Choir Graduation Performance
After a 2 year hiatus, the Concert Choir will finally be performing at Grissom’s Graduation Service on the evening of Thursday, May 26th at 5:00pm.  Student call time in the VBC Arena will be 4:30pm (or as soon as the doors open) for final rehearsal.  Seniors will wear Cap & Gowns, underclassmen will wear Concert Uniforms.


4th Semester Grades
Students, please make sure that you have submitted all online work from the 4th 9-Weeks.  All material is posted on Schoology for you to review and submit.
